Iddly .... mmm...yummy!
1) 200g Iddly flour
2) 320ml Water
3) Oil for spreading the Iddly mould
Method
- Buy a packet of Iddly mix.
- Mix the Iddly flour gently with the water.
- Leave it for 2-3 mins. Spread the mould with oil.
- Pour the batter in the steaming cups.
- Cover the steamer and steam for 7-10mins.
- Test the Iddly with a stick. If the batter doesn’t stick to the stick it is cooked.
Note: Iddly usually serve with sambar or cattni. It may also
serve with brown sugar for children.
